Dinka Baric, mag.med.techn., IBCLC Consultant
[dropcap]I[/dropcap] graduated at the Medical Faculty in Zagreb in 2014, with a University Graduate Degree in Nursing. Since 1996, I have been working in Zagreb East Community Health Centre, in a Department of Visiting Nurse Service, in Sesvete. I complemented my professional work in 2012 with the acquisition of the International Certificate in Lactation Consultant. I am President of the Croatian Association Groups of Breastfeeding Support, HUGPD, www.hugpd.hr and a member of the Croatian Association IBCLC, www.husd.hr.
In addition to my job that I love and want to improve even more, I devote my free time to activities, which make me happy – fitness, travel and development of projects that contribute to the primary health and wellbeing.
This website represents my small contribution to the dissemination of knowledge about breastfeeding consultants, our mission and vision, as well as Visiting Nurse Service in Croatia and its role in promotion of health for the entire population.
My wish is to provide access to the most relevant and accurate information that are based on scientific evidence, complemented by my own practical experience.
